Sales prices continue to rise in the Dallas area and nearby communities when comparing year-over-year changes. However, we are starting to see a change in the market. Both the average sales price and median sales price are decreasing when you consider month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter changes in some areas. In addition, the percent of original price is decreasing. However, the number of available homes for sale and the months supply of homes for sale remains low. Below is a summary of December 2021 market statistics for the Dallas area and nearby communities.
