January’s ice event that stalled much of North Texas was fun while it lasted, but thankfully we were back to business as usual relatively quickly. Similarly, residential real estate experienced a brief slowdown during the annual holiday hiatus -- that, too, proved  to be short lived. We have been seeing an influx of buying activity last month with buyers motivated by lower mortgage rates and prices than in previous months. Homes in good condition in a good location at a good price are the first to go, so if you are thinking of a move, now is a great time!
